Maine - Hatala Orthodontics Game Highlights


Window Broker - 10     Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 4
Window Broker Takes First End of Double Header - Window Broker took the first end of a double header on Saturday 10 -4. Both teams played fine defense. Hatala third baseman Jamie Pestrak and pitcher Miresa Michitti teamed up with first baseman Jordan McGinnis for several fine put outs. Window Brokers were paced by Lauren Demaree and Daniella Dean who each reached base 3 times. In addition, Annie Walikas, Erin Rush and Katrina Hatala turned nice plays in the field.

Window Broker Takes Second Game of Twin Bill - In an extremely exciting game to finish the year Window Broker defeated Hatala 10 - 9 in a game that came down to the wire. Hatala was paced by four players who reached base 3 times, Marissa, Jamie, Jordon and Rebecca. Window Brokers played well in the field with Monica Ferguson making several nice plays at third base and Megan Pipa making a nice stop and tag at short stop to quell a Hatala rally. The game came down to the final Window Broker at bat and traling by 2 runs. Allie Misavage hit a deep triple with 2 girls on to tie the game. Jessica Shear had the winning RBI as she hit a hard grounder to the right side of the infield. Hatala made a nice defensive stop on the grounder and threw home but Allie Missavage was off once the ball was hit and made a great slide into home to beat the throw and score the winning run. Great game girls and great season.

Palmer Insurance - 12     Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 8
The Palmer girls win a defensive battle. - In a well played defensive game, Palmer insurance held on for a 12-8 victory over a gritty Hatala team. With the Palmer girls missing 4 of their regulars, Katie Malak, Cassandra Banker and Jenna Ciganek stepped in and all played very well to help in the victory. Michelle Savoldy made several good defensive plays at pitcher and Mikayla Garbarino went 4-4, Grace Muggeo and Kristine Hickin each picked up 3 hits for Palmer. Hatala was led by Jordan McGinnis who collected 4 hits and also made several nice plays at 1st base. Jamie, Marrisa and Cierra each contributed 3 hits for Hatala. Great game girls!

Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 15     Palmer Insurance - 6
Hatala outslugs the Palmer Girls - The girls from Hatala bats were hot tonight at Struble Field. All 9 of their players had multiple hits, that combined with their excellent fielding led them to a 15-6 victory over the Palmer girls. Palmer was led by Maggie Ross going 3 for 3 and Nicole Patak going 2 for 2. The defensive highlight of the game for Palmer was Michelle Savoldy snagging a line drive at pitcher and making a quick throw to Maggie Ross to complete a double play.

Window Broker - 12     Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 10
Window Brokers Notches Second Win Against Hatala Orthodontics - On a beautiful night for softball both teams played well in the field and came up with clutch hits when needed. Marissa Michitti led the Hatala attack reaching base five times. Jordan McGinnis made several nice scoops at first base for Hatala to help hold the Window Broker attack in check. Daniella Dean led the Window Broker offense going 4-4 with a long triple down the left field line. Monica Ferguson made sure she got under a high pop-up in the 5th inning to end a Hatala rally and Jessica Shear made a key heads up play at catcher in the 6th inning, darting from behind the plate to bare hand a roller up the first base line and make it back to home plate for a force out to stem a bases loaded rally by Hatala. Great game girls.

Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 13     Robinson Hill Nursery & Mulch - 6
Hatala beats Robinson Hill at home - Defense was the name of the game on this night. Both teams fielded very well. Jamie Pastrick was an amazing 5-5 for Hatala. Kennedy Brown led Robinson Hill with 2 hard hit triples in the game. The Robinson Hill crew really came to life after the game when it was announced that they would be going for ice cream.

M & T Bank - 15     Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 12
M&T Win a HOT one in Maine - M&T overcame Hatala Thursday night in the blazing heat. Maggie Striley, Jori Zimmerman, Marykate Gell and Jenna Ciganek led M&T's offense with 3 hits each. Cassy Banker, Maggie Striley, Marykate Gell and Jori Zimmerman Had long hits for doubles. Zoe Katz made her first out at home plate with a great catch. Chloe Higgins also made a nice catch at 3rd base. Former Hatala player Katie Malack played great in the field for M&T.

Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 10     Palmer Insurance - 9
Hatala edges out Palmer. - On a beautiful night for softball in Maine and both teams only suiting up 8 players, the girls from Hatala edged out the Palmer girls 10-9. Hatala was lead by Marissa Michitti who went 4 for 4 and Jordan McGinnis who had 8 put outs at 1st base. Palmer was lead by Kristine Hickin who had 4 hits. Michelle Savoldy, Maggie Ross and Grace Muggeo chipped in with 3 hits each.

M & T Bank - 17     Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 7
M&T's Bats stay HOT - M&T played solid softball Saturday out in Maine against a good Hatala team. M&T got on the scoreboard early going up 10-1 after 2 innings. M&T's Maggie Striley capped off the 2nd inning with a shot to the wall in right center for an HR. In the fifth inning Jori Zimmerman blasted one to the left center wall for a triple capping off a 5 for 5 performance. Maggie Striley, Katie Malack and Cassy Banker had 4 hits for M&T. Rachel Lee and Mary Kate Gell added 3 apiece. Katie Malack also turned a double play for M&T.

Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 15     M & T Bank - 12
M&T edged out by Hatala - M&T lost a close game to a agressive Maine-Hatala team. The girls from Maine played heads up ball for six innings. Miresa Michitti, J Pestrak, Ciera Brown and Jordan Mcginnis all had 4 hits for Hatala. Hatala also played owesome defense led by 3rd basemen J Pestrak and 1st basemen Jordan Mcginnis. M&T's offense was led by Maggie Striley, Jori Zimmerman and Madison Burlingame all with 4 hits. Maggie also hit a shot to right for a triple.

Robinson Hill Nursery & Mulch - 10     Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 9
Robinson Hill wins a very close, dust filled, game against Hatala. - It was a hot, dry evening and girls from both teams were hustling to the dugouts between innings so they could grab their water bottles. Hatala started out hot with a homerun by Jamie Pastrick. Jamie, Marissa Michitti, Cierra Brown, Jordan McGinnis and Kylie Patrick had 3 hits for Hatala. Rose Natoli, Kennedy Brown and Courtney Kincer had 3 hits for Robinson Hill. Hatala's catcher, Cierra Brown made several nice plays. For Robinson Hill, Kennedy Brown hustled to tag a runner at home. Courtney Kincer made some very athletic plays at second. The last play of the game featured Alyssa Pochkar stopping a good hit into RF (w/bases loaded)and making a nice throw to Hannah Thorner for the final out.
