Parkway outslugs Palmer -
After the teams both scored the 5 maximum runs in the 1st inning, Parkway's hitters all stayed hot in a 18-6 victory over the Palmer Girls. The Palmer girls played hard and their outfielders stayed busy chasing down several hard shots by the Parkway team. Maggie Ross made 2 nice catches at 1st base and Amanda Meade went 3-3 for Palmer. Parkway was lead by Brittany Cole make several nice defensive plays and Emma Smith going 4-4.

Window Brokers Defeats Palmer Insurance -
Window Brokers bats came alive with three players, Daniella Dean, Allie Missavage and Jessica Shear each reaching base five times. Brianna Davis also hit her second home run of the year with a towering drive to right center field. In addition, Daniella Dean made a nice grab on a hard line drive up the middle to quell a Palmer Insurance rally. Grace Muggeo and Michele Savoldy paced Palmer Insuranec with 3 and 2 hits respectively and Maggie Ross turned a nice solo double play by nabbing a pop up and doubling off the runner on first base.

In a well played defensive game, Palmer insurance held on for a 12-8 victory over a gritty Hatala team. With the Palmer girls missing 4 of their regulars, Katie Malak, Cassandra Banker and Jenna Ciganek stepped in and all played very well to help in the victory. Michelle Savoldy made several good defensive plays at pitcher and Mikayla Garbarino went 4-4, Grace Muggeo and Kristine Hickin each picked up 3 hits for Palmer. Hatala was led by Jordan McGinnis who collected 4 hits and also made several nice plays at 1st base. Jamie, Marrisa and Cierra each contributed 3 hits for Hatala. Great game girls!

It was an exciting game that traded leads many times. Girls on both teams can feel proud of the way they played today. On defense for Palmer, Michelle Savoldy made a great catch of a screaming line drive at Pitcher. On offense, Anna Crandall, Nicole Patak & Grace Muggeo each went 2 for 3. Robinson Hill's offense was led by Nadia Hogan who went 4 for 4. On defense, Courtney Kincer made a nice toss to Elise Maus (catcher) who made a great play to tag a runner out at home. I'd also like to credit the girls for noting at least one bad call by us coaches(we need umpires), even though it cost their own team an out....that showed great sportsmanship.

M&T keep their bats going Sunday night against a well improved Palmer Insurance team. M&T offense was led by Jori Zimmerman, Katie Malack, Jenna Ciganek, Marykate Gell and Rachel Lee all with 3 hits each. 3rd baseman Chloe Higgins closed down Palmer in the 1st inning with a nice catch and throw to M&T's first basemen Jori Zimmerman for a double play. Zoe Katz also made a nice catch on a foul ball behind the plate for an out. Palmer Insurance's offense was led by Olivia Porcari and Maggie Ross with 3 hits each. Palmer's outfielder made some great plays on some hard hit balls. Great game girls!

The girls from Hatala bats were hot tonight at Struble Field. All 9 of their players had multiple hits, that combined with their excellent fielding led them to a 15-6 victory over the Palmer girls. Palmer was led by Maggie Ross going 3 for 3 and Nicole Patak going 2 for 2. The defensive highlight of the game for Palmer was Michelle Savoldy snagging a line drive at pitcher and making a quick throw to Maggie Ross to complete a double play.

On a sweltering night at Struble field, The Palmer girls bats were hot as they edged out Robinson Hill to earn their 2nd win of the season. Palmer was led by Maggie Ross who went 5 for 5, Mikayla Garbarino and Michelle Savoldy added 4 hits apiece. Robinson Hill's offense was led by Kennedy Brown and Chelsea Cable who each went 3 for 3. Rose Natoli had a good catch at shortstop that ended a Palmer rally.

On a beautiful night for softball in Maine and both teams only suiting up 8 players, the girls from Hatala edged out the Palmer girls 10-9. Hatala was lead by Marissa Michitti who went 4 for 4 and Jordan McGinnis who had 8 put outs at 1st base. Palmer was lead by Kristine Hickin who had 4 hits. Michelle Savoldy, Maggie Ross and Grace Muggeo chipped in with 3 hits each.

Palmer Insurance prevails in extra innings -
Palmer Insurance needed extra innings to secure their 1st win of the season, with 2 outs in the bottom of the seventh, Maggie Ross's single drove home Mikayla Garbarino and Palmer Insurace came out with a 10-9 win over the girls from the Window Broker. Both teams played excellent defense in a game that saw the Window Broker come up with 4 runs in the top of the 6th to send the game into extra innings. The Window Broker was led by Allie Missavage and Daniella Dean who each had 3 hits, Brianna Davis chipped in with 2 hits including a long triple. Palmers defensive was led by pitcher Michelle Savoldy and 2nd baseman Mikayla Garbarino who each had several putouts, Maggie Ross played a flawless 1st base and Sydney Warrick made a game saving catch at shortstop. Great game girls!

On a chilly rainy afternoon at Struble field, Parkway Wine and Spirits bats stayed hot in a 27-6 victory over Palmer Insurance. Hannah George, Hannah Ingalls, Emma Smith and Brittany Cole led the way for the Parkway team with 6 hits each. The defensive star of the game was Mary Trichka who had 2 catches at third base as well as snagging a line drive at pitcher and turning it into a double play. Palmer was led by Kristine Hickin, Maggie Ross, Anna Crandall, Sydney Warrick and Madison Stulir who each collected 2 hits.

M&T and Palmer Insurance played a hard game despite the 80 Degree temp. M&T's bats were just as hot with Maggie Striley leading the way going 5 for 5. Mary Kate Gell, Jori Zimmerman and Jenna Ciganek added 4 hits each for M&T. Palmer Insurance's offense was led by Kristine Hicker and Makala Garbarino both with 3 hits. The BIG defensive play of the game came when M&T's 3rd basemen Chloe Higgins threw a bullet cross diamond to 1st basemen Jori Zimmerman for an out.

Offensively Parkway was led by Mary, Brittany, Emma Smith and Hannah George who each collected 3 hits. Palmer was led by Kristine Hickin who had 4 hits, scored 3 runs and also made 2 good defensive plays at third base.

On a beautiful night for softball both teams made some nice defensive plays. Megan Pipa made several nice stops at 3B for Window Brokers while Michele Savoldy had several sparkling plays at pitcher for Palmer Insurance. Offensively, both teams had several players collect 4 hits, including Maggie Ross and Michele Savoldy for Palmer Insurance and Annie Wallikas, Monica Ferguson and Jessica Shear for Window Broker. The offensive highlight of the game was provided by Brianna Davis who hit a towering drive to center field and was able to touch them all for her first home run of the season.

For Robinson Hill, 5 girls had 4 hits: Shannon Springer, Elise Maus, Courtney Kincer, Hannah Thorner & Kennedy Brown. Kennedy also had a great 5th inning on defense, where she was key in all 3 outs. Maggie Ross and Kristine Hickin led Palmer Insurance with 4 hits. On defense, Michelle Savoldy had a great catch at Pitcher.
