Cold night at Struble -
It was a cold damp night at Struble but everyone was ready to play softball. Kimberly Jones pitched 6 strong innings for Park Manor and picked up the victory. Katie Greenley and Emily Kish both pitched a good game for OL Davis. Sydney Bendert had a good catch for Park Manor and then turned it into a double play. Kelsey Dickerman, Cara boothroyd, Emily Kish(2 hits), Katie Greenley(2 hits), Shannon Kleespies(2 hits), Maggie VanFleet and Karlee Voorhees had hits for OL Davis. For Park Manor MarKate Guilfoyle, Sydney Bendert, Meredith Suwak(2 hits)Kelly Layton, Gabby Stein(2 hits), Rebecca Buholski, Kimberly Jones, Jessica Lainhardt, Allison Bernard and Logan DiRusso all had hits, with Emily having the big night with 3 hits including 2 doubles.

Citgo Stops O.L. Davis -
The sun shone brightly as O.L. Davis took on Sunrise Citgo at the Maine Softball field Wednesday evening. Sunrise’s offense was on a roll as they made 7 straight runs in the first inning. After a rough start, Davis battled and picked up one run in the second inning and three runs in the 3rd inning; Katie Greenley, Kelsey Dickerman, Emily Kish and Shannon Kleespies running the bases. Adding a run to the scoreboard were Chelsea Sedlak in the 4th and Allison Unger in the 6th inning. Katie Greenley pitched all 6 innings. Cara Boothroyd nailed a fantastic double in the 5th inning as well bringing in 2 runs in the 2nd. Boothroyd also wowed the fans as she caught a pop fly in the 5th inning and made a double play. Rachel Fotusky pitched all innings for her team as well as scoring two runs. Maine’s Josie Trichka, Vanessa Brown, Catherine Miller and Danielle Gomolka also scored two runs with Brianna Davies, Natasha VanGorder and Paige Sisenstein making it around the bases once. Sunrise player Julianna Vicari hit two solid singles and Shania Finch got on base with a nice hit in the 4th inning. Good sportsmanship was displayed by both teams and the spectators were treated to a well played game.

Park Manor Tops OL Davis -
On a wonderful Monday evening Park Manor won over OL Davis. OL Davis had a few players that had injuries but played through it. Kimberly Jones pitched 4 strong innings for Park Manor. Katie Greenley and Emily Kish both pitched 2 innings for OL Davis. Oliva Martino for OL Davis had a great catch in the outfield that turned into a double play. Allison Bernard, Sydney Bendert both had big catches in the outfield for Park Manor with Gabby Stein also getting a good put out at 1st. Kelsey Dickerman, Cara boothroyd(triple), Sabrina Sholtes and Shannon Kleespies had hits for OL Davis. Mary-Kate Guilfoyle, Sidney Bendert, Meredith Suwak(2 hits), Loganne DiRusso(2 hits), Kelly Layton, Jessica Lainhardt and Rachel Ackley(2 hits) all had hits for Park Manor with the best hitting coming from Gabby Stein who went 3-3. It was a well played game on both sides.

O.L.Davis victory in chilly Wed. night game -
The chilly audience at Struble Field Wednesday night was warmed by a well played softball game. North Point’s Gracie Cotroneo pitched the first 4 innings and Katie Armstrong pitched the 5th. Danielle Cronk started the game off with a nice hit in the first inning. Taylor Clark made 2 fantastic hits, scored 1 run and demonstrated amazing first base coverage. Danielle Brennan hit and scored twice. Gracie Controneo and Heather Rybacki added one hit and one run to their game stats. The North Point defense kept O.L.Davis on their toes with great outfield coverage and quick in-field plays.
Davis’s Katie Greenley pitched a tremendous 2 innings and Emily Kish came in for innings 3–5. Davis’s Jenna Fetterman knocked out a double in the first inning, a base hit in the 3rd and scored one run. Kelsey Dickerman had two nice hits and scored 3 runs. Emily Kish made 1 hit and scored 2 runs. Sabrina Sholtes got on base with a nice hit and scored 1 run. Shannon Kleespies and Olivia Martino each had 2 runs under their belts. Allison Unger, Karlee Voorhees and Cara Boothroyd ran the bases well and each scored 1 run.

On a beautiful day, Silvestri received some timely hitting to edge OL Davis. Cassidie Codispoti pitched 5 strong innings to earn the victory. Katie Greenley pitched a fine game for OL Davis. Natalie Longo, Natalie Knight, Skyler Hoyt, and Jessie Smith each had two hits for Silvestri. Chelsea Kincer came through with a timely hit for Silvestri. Cara Boothroyd and Katie Greenley had multiple hits for OL Davis. Kelsey Dickerman, Sabrina Sholtes, and Oliva Martino each added a hit for OL Davis. Brooke Bart and Dana Connery made several nice defensive plays for Silvestri. Brooke Bart, Natalie Knight, and Natalie Longo each earned a "Silvestri Ice Cream Award".

The rain did not dampen he spirits of these two teams of athletes as they began the second game of the season. Maine’s Kat Miller pitched an exciting game. Katie Greenley pitching 4 innings and Emily Kish coming in and finishing up the last 2. Maine’s Vanessa Brown, Olivieri, Michitti and Murray all had hits. Karlee Voorhees of the Davis team had 2 nice hits. Chelsea Sedlak, Maggie VanFleet, Kelsey Dickerman, Emily Kish, Sabrina Sholtes and Jenna Fetterman also had hits. Davis’ Katie Greenley wowed the crowd with a powerful triple. Even though the sun never shined, the girls certainly did, and the game was well played by both teams.

O.L. Davis wins season opener -
The first game of the season and excitement and raindrops filled the air. Katie Greenley and Emily Kish pitched a combined no hitter for O.L.Davis. Katie Greenley recorded 10 strikeouts. Cassidie Codispoti pitched an amazing game for Silvestri’s. Cara Boothroyd was 4 for 4, hitting a double in the 2nd inning as well as scoring a total of 4 runs. Emily Kish scored 3 runs, Kelsey Dickerman and Katie Greenley each scored twice, Alison Unger also scored. Silvestri’s Kassandra Hizney scored their lone run. Silvestri’s defense did an outstanding job making the Davis team work hard for their runs. Jori Zimmerman and Chloe Higgins were called up from AAA and helped contribute to O.L. Davis' win. Both teams played well.

Close game at Struble -
It turned out to be a nice day at Struble after all with the sun coming out and the field drying out. The game ended up being a close one. Katie Greenly pitched 2 innings for OL Davis and Emily Kish pitched a strong 3 innings for OL Davis. Kimberly Jones pitched a strong 5 2/3 for Park Manor. Cara Boothroyd, Katie Greenley, Allison Unger and Shannon Kleepsies had hits for OL Davis. Sydney Bendert, Meredith Suwak, Kimberly Jones, Marykate Guilfoyle all had a hit for Park Manor with Kelley Layton and Emily Missavage each having 2 big hits. Gabby Stein had a double play in the second inning, 1st one this year for Park Manor. Both teams played great and everyone seemed to have fun.

Sunrise Citgo over O.L. Davis in Pitchers Duel -
The athletes were in great form as they treated the spectators to a well played game. Great defense was demonstrated as both teams scored only 1 run each until the 5th inning, when Sunrise took the lead. Katie Greenley and Cat Miller pitched for their respective teams. At the conclusion of the game, the stats were as follows; for Sunrise Citgo, Miller, Davis, and Fotusky had one hit each. Scoring for Sunrise were Miller, Fotsky, Davis, Michitti, Murray, Trichka and Lee. For the O.L.Davis team; Unger, Sedlak, Voorhees and Martino each hit solid singles with Kish hitting her first double of the season. Allison Unger scored one run early into the game. Both teams played well and had the crowd cheering!

O.L. Davis had the bats humming in this victory over NPT. Several players for O.L. Davis had multiple hits and every player scored at least once. For NPT Danielle Brennan had two hits and scored two runs.

NPT jumped out to a quick lead in the first scoring four runs. O.L. Davis closed the gap by scoring three in the bottom of the inning. From that point on it was all O.L. Davis, scoring seven in both the 2nd and 4th. NPT tried to make it a game and scored seven in the 5th. But by then it was too late as the time limit had elapsed. Kelsey Dickerman had three hits for O.L. Davis. Cara Boothroyd, Emily Kish an Chelsea Sedlak each had two hits. Morgan Cerra had three hits for NPT. Gracie Cotroneo and Erin Perry each had two hits.

Silvestri Edges OL Davis in Pitchers Duel -
Cassidie Codispoti and Katie Greenley locked up in a pitchers duel. Silvestri was able to capitialize on a few breaks to score 4 runs in the 4th inning to take the lead 5-2. Brooke Bart scored 2 runs and added a nice bunt single for Silvestri. Skyler Hoyt, Jessie Smith, Heather Pandich, Kassandra Hizny, Cassidie, and Dana Connery all had a hit. Katie Greenley added two hits for OL Davis with Emily Kish and Cara Boothroyd each adding a hit. There were several very nice defensive plays made during the game. Jessie Smith and Kelly Johnston combined on a nice 9-3 force out. Cassidie, Skyler, and Natalie Knight earned a "Silvestri Ice Cream Award".
