North Point Technology Game Highlights


Maine - Sunrise Citgo - 21     North Point Technology - 11
Sunrise offense unstoppable in win - Sunrise scored the maximum seven in each of the first 3 innings on the way to a 21-11 victory over Northpoint. Northpoint kept up for the first two innings, scoring 11 of their own. Rachel Fotusky allowed just one hit to Mikayla Klym over the next two innings to shut down Northpoint. Fotusky, Van Gorder, Josi Trichka and Kathryn Miller all had 2 hits each for Sunrise. Kayla Koch, Katie Armstrong and Olivia Bridge added hits for Northpoint. Koch and Dani Brennan made nice putouts in the field for Northpoint, and Trichka ended the game with a nice overhead snag of a foul ball at 3rd base.

Maine - Sunrise Citgo - 17     North Point Technology - 9
Sunrise Pulls Away Late - Sunrise broke open a tight 10-9 game in the bottom of the fifth with a seven run inning to earn the win over Northpoint. The game was tied 9-9 after 2 innings, then both teams turned to pitching and defense for the next few innings. Rachel Fotusky entered the game in the 3rd and allowed just one base runner over the next 3 innings, while striking out 6. Heather Rybacki pitched a gritty 5 innings for Northpoint, allowing just one run in the crucial 3rd and 4th innings, striking out 4 and making several putouts from the mound. M Oliveri led the way for Sunrise with 3 hits. Dani Cronk and Kayla Koch made nice defensive plays for Norhtpoint.

Silvestri Edges Northpoint - Cassidie Codipoti pitched strong four inning earning the victory. Natalie Knight, Heather Pandich, Jessie Smith, and Brooke Bart each had multiple hits for Silvestri. Danielle Cronk collected two hits and scored two runs while Katie Armstrong scored two runs for Northpoint. Natalie Longo and Kelly Johnston turned a nice double play for Silvestri. Brooke Bart, Skyler Hoyt and Natalie Longo earned a "Silvestri Ice Cream Award". Jori Zimmerman played up for Silvestri today and collected a hit.

OL Davis Fire Company - 15     North Point Technology - 5
O.L.Davis victory in chilly Wed. night game - The chilly audience at Struble Field Wednesday night was warmed by a well played softball game. North Point’s Gracie Cotroneo pitched the first 4 innings and Katie Armstrong pitched the 5th. Danielle Cronk started the game off with a nice hit in the first inning. Taylor Clark made 2 fantastic hits, scored 1 run and demonstrated amazing first base coverage. Danielle Brennan hit and scored twice. Gracie Controneo and Heather Rybacki added one hit and one run to their game stats. The North Point defense kept O.L.Davis on their toes with great outfield coverage and quick in-field plays. Davis’s Katie Greenley pitched a tremendous 2 innings and Emily Kish came in for innings 3–5. Davis’s Jenna Fetterman knocked out a double in the first inning, a base hit in the 3rd and scored one run. Kelsey Dickerman had two nice hits and scored 3 runs. Emily Kish made 1 hit and scored 2 runs. Sabrina Sholtes got on base with a nice hit and scored 1 run. Shannon Kleespies and Olivia Martino each had 2 runs under their belts. Allison Unger, Karlee Voorhees and Cara Boothroyd ran the bases well and each scored 1 run.

Maine - Sunrise Citgo - 24     North Point Technology - 8
Sunrise tops Northpoint - Sunrise Citgo used a 3 run Home Run by Rachel Fotusky, 2 doubles by Kathryn Miller and 3 runs scored by Vanessa Brown to overcome Northpoint Technology, 24-8 on Sunday. Fotusky pitched 3 strong innings against a continually improving Northpoint team, who had their best offensive showing of the year. Gracie Controneo led the way with 2 hits, while Dani Cronk, Olivia Bridge, Katie Armstrong and Dani Brennan added hits as well. Brennan also scored 3 runs with some great base running. Heather Rybacki scored twice.

Park Manor Wine & Spirits - 24     North Point Technology - 1
Beautiful day at Struble for a game - On a beautiful day at Struble Park Manor had their bats produce several big hits. Kimberly Jones pitched 3 strong innings with Meredith pitching a strong 4th inning. For North Point Heather Rybacki, Mikayla Klym and Danielle Cronk all put in a good effort pitching. Sydney Bendert, Meredith Suwak, Emily Missavage, Gabby Stein, Kelly Layton and Jessica Lainhardt all had multiple hits for Park Manor with Emily and Loganne hitting home runs. Rebecca Buholski, Kimberly Jones and Rachel Ackley also had hits for Park Manor. North Point had hits by Kayla Koch, Mikayla Klym and a big 2nd inning triple by Olivia Bridge. Both teams played hard with some good in field defensive plays by both teams.

Strong Pitching Leads Silvestri. - Cassidie Codispoti pitched 4 strong innings to help Silvestri earn their first victory of the young season. Natalie Longo pitched a strong fifth inning for Silvestri. Gracie Controneo pitched 2 good innings for Northpoint. Natalie Longo, Jessie Smith, and Skyler Hoyt had mulitple hits for Silvestri. Heather Pandich and Natalie Knight each collected a hit for Silvestri. Danielle Brennan, Danielle Cronk, and Gracie Controneo each collected a hit for Northpoint.

Opening Game - Finally summer has arrived on a warm Monday. North Point and Park Manor had a very tight game going into the 4th inning. Gracie Cotroneo pitched 4 strong inning for North Point with 7 strike outs. Kimberly Jones pitched 5 strong innings for Park Manor with 13 strike outs with Meridth finishing up the game with 3 strike outs. Olivia Bridge had a hit for North Point. Meridth Suwak, Loganne DiRusso, Emily Missavage, Kimberly Jones and Kelly Layton had hits for Park Manor.

Beautiful evening for a game - On a beautiful Spring evening Park Manor and North Point Technology played a good game. Kimberly Jones pitched 4 Strong innings for Park Manor and Meredith Suwak pitching the last 2 innings to earn the win for Park Manor. Heather Rybacki and Grace Cotroneo pitched a good game for North Point. Mikayla Klym had a big double for North Point, Erin Perry, Morgan Cerra and Grace Controneo each had a single. For Park Manor Mary-Kate Guilfoyle, Gabby Stein, Allison Bernard, and Rachel Ackly each had a single. Meredith Suwak, Sydney Bendert and Rebecca Buholski(triple) each had 2 hits, Kimberly Jones went 3-4, Emily Missavage went 4-4 with a Triple and Loganne DiRusso went 4-4. Loganne also had a great catch at 1st to end the game.

OL Davis Fire Company - 21     North Point Technology - 7
O.L. Davis over NPT - O.L. Davis had the bats humming in this victory over NPT. Several players for O.L. Davis had multiple hits and every player scored at least once. For NPT Danielle Brennan had two hits and scored two runs.

OL Davis Fire Company - 18     North Point Technology - 11
O.L. Davis Cruises over NPT - NPT jumped out to a quick lead in the first scoring four runs. O.L. Davis closed the gap by scoring three in the bottom of the inning. From that point on it was all O.L. Davis, scoring seven in both the 2nd and 4th. NPT tried to make it a game and scored seven in the 5th. But by then it was too late as the time limit had elapsed. Kelsey Dickerman had three hits for O.L. Davis. Cara Boothroyd, Emily Kish an Chelsea Sedlak each had two hits. Morgan Cerra had three hits for NPT. Gracie Cotroneo and Erin Perry each had two hits.

Silvestri Edges Northpoint - On the final game of the regular season Cassidie Codispoti pitched 4 strong innings leading Silvestri over Northpoint. Natalie Longo came in and pitched two good innings. Katie Armstrong and Danielle Brennan each pitched well for Northpoint. Silvestri's offense was led by Heather Pandich (3 hits, 3 runs) and Cassidie (3 hits). Morgan Cerra and Kayla Koch each had two hits for Northpoint. Alexis Raleigh scored 3 runs and added a hit for Silvestri. Natalie Longo, Natalie Knight, Skyler Hoyt, and Brooke Bart each had 2 hits for Silvestri. Kassandra Hizny and Kelly Johnston each collected a hit for Silvestri. Danielle Cronk and Amanada Fiacco collected hits for Northpoint.
