AAA Softball Week 3 Game Highlights
Maine - Parkway Wine and Spirits - 27 Palmer Insurance - 6
Parkway bats stay hot. -
On a chilly rainy afternoon at Struble field, Parkway Wine and Spirits bats stayed hot in a 27-6 victory over Palmer Insurance. Hannah George, Hannah Ingalls, Emma Smith and Brittany Cole led the way for the Parkway team with 6 hits each. The defensive star of the game was Mary Trichka who had 2 catches at third base as well as snagging a line drive at pitcher and turning it into a double play. Palmer was led by Kristine Hickin, Maggie Ross, Anna Crandall, Sydney Warrick and Madison Stulir who each collected 2 hits.

The offenses for both teams were in high gear on a perfect day for softball. Leading the way for Window Broker was Jessica Shear and Brianna Davis with an amazing 5 hits each, and Annie Wallikas hit a long double. 5 Robinson Hill players had 4 hits: Sam Duncan, Chelsea Cable, Nadia Hogan, Rose Natoli and Kennedy Brown. Kennedy hit a booming HR, Chelsea had a nice double and Courtney Kincer had a nice hit for a triple.
Maine - Hatala Orthodontics - 15 M & T Bank - 12
M&T edged out by Hatala -
M&T lost a close game to a agressive Maine-Hatala team. The girls from Maine played heads up ball for six innings. Miresa Michitti, J Pestrak, Ciera Brown and Jordan Mcginnis all had 4 hits for Hatala. Hatala also played owesome defense led by 3rd basemen J Pestrak and 1st basemen Jordan Mcginnis. M&T's offense was led by Maggie Striley, Jori Zimmerman and Madison Burlingame all with 4 hits. Maggie also hit a shot to right for a triple.

Robinson Hill wins a very close, dust filled, game against Hatala. -
It was a hot, dry evening and girls from both teams were hustling to the dugouts between innings so they could grab their water bottles. Hatala started out hot with a homerun by Jamie Pastrick. Jamie, Marissa Michitti, Cierra Brown, Jordan McGinnis and Kylie Patrick had 3 hits for Hatala. Rose Natoli, Kennedy Brown and Courtney Kincer had 3 hits for Robinson Hill. Hatala's catcher, Cierra Brown made several nice plays. For Robinson Hill, Kennedy Brown hustled to tag a runner at home. Courtney Kincer made some very athletic plays at second. The last play of the game featured Alyssa Pochkar stopping a good hit into RF (w/bases loaded)and making a nice throw to Hannah Thorner for the final out.
M & T Bank - 23 Palmer Insurance - 7
M&T Wins -
M&T and Palmer Insurance played a hard game despite the 80 Degree temp. M&T's bats were just as hot with Maggie Striley leading the way going 5 for 5. Mary Kate Gell, Jori Zimmerman and Jenna Ciganek added 4 hits each for M&T. Palmer Insurance's offense was led by Kristine Hicker and Makala Garbarino both with 3 hits. The BIG defensive play of the game came when M&T's 3rd basemen Chloe Higgins threw a bullet cross diamond to 1st basemen Jori Zimmerman for an out.
